Brief Description
A Carillion joint venture has achieved financial close on the Southmead Hospital public private partnership project. Carillion will deliver £430m of construction services and £170m of facilities management and maintenance services over a 30-year contract period.
Construction already underway on the existing Southmead hospital site in North Bristol and is scheduled for completion in early 2014.
Our clients will be constructing an 800 bed superhospital with new car parking (2700 spaces) all under one roof with the commercial facilities located in a strategic position within the main entrance atrium.
Visitor catering will comprise a cafe and kiosk facilities and expressions of interest are invited from experienced operators within the sector.
The space is unlikely to be actively marketed until 2013 so that the operator selection can be benchmarked against best in class at that time.
